Rethinking Food

Movi’s Farms was established in 2017 by Vinod, an IT professional, who embarked on this journey after facing severe health issues within his family, particularly affecting his children. These challenges led him to adopt the philosophy that “food will be the medicine and medicine will be the food.” This belief became the cornerstone of his mission to provide healthier alternatives to conventional food products.

Vinod began with natural farming, focusing on raising Gir cows to produce pure, chemical-free milk. Recognizing the importance of natural farming practices, he ensured that the cows grazed on naturally grown grass, avoiding synthetic additives or chemicals. His dedication to purity and sustainability resonated with close friends and family, to whom he started supplying this pure milk.

Over time, Vinod’s passion evolved into a broader mission: to inspire and empower other farmers. With the support of Grama Bharathi, a non-governmental organization dedicated to rural development, Vinod began encouraging farmers to adopt natural farming methods. Under his guidance, farmers started producing natural milk, as well as organic vegetables and groceries, contributing to a healthier food ecosystem.
